Justin is a Master’s student in the Building Technology program at MIT. As a Tata Fellow, he studies the indoor air quality of low-income housing in major Indian cities. His goal is to contribute to the design of healthy, sustainable living spaces in the developing world.

Originally from Oregon, Justin received a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a B.A. in Music Composition from Northwestern University. Prior to coming to MIT, he worked in Washington, D.C. for three years consulting on building energy efficiency projects around the world.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing drums, fermenting foods, and exploring the outdoors around New England.
